She’s never been a Grammys’ favorite and I never expected it to get a nomination since her label has never cared about buying her awards, especially not Grammys. People care far more about her than about the Grammys anyway, so I’m unbothered. It’s a shame that Bey was snubbed though.

She has one Grammy and can be announced as a 'Grammy award winning artist Britney Spears' and that's enough for me. The only categories in which she deserved nominations were Best Pop Vocal album (Femme Fatale) and Best Dance Recording (Hold It Against Me,) but mainstream artists were banned from the latter, so I wasn't expecting anything.
Best Pop Solo is probably the most competitive category. Gaga deserves it the most, followed by Bruno, and then Adele. Katy and Pink aren't getting it.
Gaga deserved her nominations because she does work on her album. Rihanna is a joke to me since all she does is sing and even that she does with auto-tune. She doesn't write her own songs and she doesn't play any instruments . She is probably the closest example to being a pop industry puppet just being controlled by the people who do the real work. Taylor should have been nominated instead but I'd have settled for any other artist over Rihanna
