Maybe the reason Gaga's been promoting the full album more so than each individual single is because she knew the songs wouldn't do as well as her previous recordings. As I look back at the promo, most of it's been medleys, so maybe full album promo became the goal after the Judas fiasco. Whatever the case, I think with tonight's AOTY nomination, we can officially call this era a success.

Well, I just checked the Grammy Nominations and first I have to ask: was My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fanatsy of Kanye elegible for this year? If so, why in the world isn't it nominated for AOTY? Kanye's album was the best of 2010 by far. Oh dear Grammys....

It's kind of hard for me to believe that Just Dance smashed way harder in the United States than anywhere else. US radio was so hesitant to play it because it was too euro-Dance, but it didn't really do much damage anywhere else. Like 70% of its sales are from the United States.
