This is why I don't use the grammys; albums like Teenage dream last year & now Loud can be nominated for AOTY but albums like Blackout & even Femme fatale couldn't.
Their categories are so painfully out of date for the pop categories too -- it's not just VOCALS that make a good pop song. Producers contribute just as much to songs these days as the actual ****ing artist. Femme Fatale was totally snubbed because of the Grammy's and their ineptitude with today's music.
They'll have a ton of ****ing jazz categories but only make one or two categories simply for Top 40 music? Trash. ****ing trash.
The Grammy's can burn in hell along with their pity nominations for dead artists and nominations just because a certain bitch bent her legs back wider than the Sahara Desert.
I'm sorry but F*UK the industry, F the committee. Snubbing Britney seriously needs to stop, even when she worked her butt of at her peak she got nothing!! I'm not being delusional but we all know she has been part of creating pretty iconic pop songs and single handedly changing pop music. Yet they nominate these pop girls, who are amazing, But Britney Spears was on a different level than all of them all her career.
I'm not sure what the committee is looking for but to snub Britney after all these years just seems truly shady. They know she creates pop perfection. So sad.

Three nominations is not a snub. Taylor fans have nothing to really be mad about other than AOTY, which is a huge joke this year.
I'm VERY pressed about AOTY. I knew it was a long shot seeing as how she slayed with Fearless. But LOUD and Doowop over it? No I DON'T think so somehow.
