I think we might actually see some comparisons to Hung Up, though. Luckily, we've already seen that Gaga has a lot of different stuff coming in this video, but I had a feeling if she ever did a video that focused on New York, she'd get accused of copying Madonna.

Again with the Madonna comparisons? What about other artists who danced in danced studios in their music videos throughout the years? Jackson Jackson and Paula Abdul have videos in dance studios before Madonna.
Most recently, Ciara, Pussycat Dolls, and even Beyonce did the same. Why aren't they accused of copying Madonna?

Madonna never created them, she wasn't the first to have a music video in one either. Nor will Gaga be the last. It's not an original setting for a music video, so nobody is "inspired", and especially not "copying".

I think it's perfectly natural for artists to use a dance studio as a setting for their music videos (just look at Beyonce's "Countdown" for a recent example). My first reaction wouldn't be to compare "Marry the Night" to "Hung Up."

However, the storyline for this video is definitely confusing the **** out of me; it's not readily apparent how the mental hospital and the dance rehearsal are going to tie together. Then again, when was the last time Lady Gaga made a coherent music video?
