I can't say with any amount of certainty that she's up for the challenge, but it is difficult to gauge her current dancing abilities when the majority of her choreography consists of shoulder bopping and marching in place. It wouldn't kill them to throw something that requires a little skill her way, and Britney shouldn't shy away from intricate footwork and complicated choreography. I think it's more difficult for her to muster up the confidence or energy to tackle her routines the way she once did, but why not give her a challenge and see how she fares?
My biggest issue with Britney's dancing as of late is the sloppiness of her arm movements. She lacks sharpness when she's flailing her arms around.
Have you not watch Bend It Like Beckham? When a knee blows out the fracture will always proficient to further damage when forced.
Oh. The way you said it, it seemed like you were gonna have really lame excuses, but that's actually legit. But she can work around it, and there's more she can do. Hell, if she can keep a cute smile during an entire song it would be a huge improvement. She has a tendency to look bored while dancing, or sometimes look annoyed. Then she'll do her really big cheesy smile to counteract.
But I don't give a damn. I love her till the world ends.

The Mannequin rehearsal. The Circus tour rehearsal. Hell, even the House of Blues dates
But, if you know how to take the bait without doing any harm then I see no use in not taking it. It's more fun that way and makes for an easy and laughable dismissal. See the now tamed thread as an example.
And that's what I meant to say. If you can respond to the ******** in way that won't result in you getting warning points, please feel free to do so. There are only a select few who are able to do that sort of thing. Several people responding in this thread went for the easy Rihanna jab, and that's mostly what I was referring to with my post.
No. She was kinda thrown into this as a child wasn't she? I honestly don't think she's doing it out of love anymore.
I feel like she wasn't ready to become as big as she was and at first it was fun, but it started to drag her down. I think today we're seeing Britney living her life the way she wants it and I don't think she's that interesting in music, performances, stats, etc anymore.
No she wasn't. Performing was something she wanted to do from a very young age. No matter what she did she put 100% into it. Her VH1 documentary explains her want for it in great detail.
There's no way to know if she was ready or not, but one of the main factors was the media scrutiny which I guess some would feel comes with being a celebrity. But, most celebs aren't even put under the same type of spotlight and microscope that she was.
That's all up-to assumptions also, though I do agree when it comes to the stats part since she comes off so unbothered when it comes to promo opportunities that could help singles, the album etc.

I say she's not interested because, let's be honest here, she's 30. She's been doing this for 10+ years. I have no doubt in my mind she KNOWS what it's supposed to look like when she performs. I feel like some of her stans treat her like she's incapable of complex thought or movement ever since the meltdown.
I don't see her as any sorts of incompetent or handicap. I sincerely just see that she's unbothered with all this music stuff. I mean the biggest eye openner for me is the way she didn't really put up a fight for a better tribute. I'm sure had it been another diva, **** would have gone down. But Britney was cute smiling and laughing at the kids performing her tribute while the internet was raging for a "proper" tribute. I don't think she cares at this point and if she doesn't care at 30 she certainly won't care when she's older considering the fact that age will further compromise her dancing. Plus she won't be able to do much without strong vocals.
I hate to say this, but I think she's done with music.
What's also weird for me are her recent interviews. She looks bothered, lifeless, avoiding questions, and her face looks like she's about to cry and have a breakdown any minute. They're hiding something.
We get a thread about this every week. She has gotten lazy and only cares about her children now. She's focusing on her personal life rather than on her professional. She still can dance, although she will probably never dance like before. The surgeries have helped her, but obviously, it can never be the same. Most choreographies for the tour suck, besides a few in which you can see she’s stepped it up compared to the “Circus” tour (“Hold It Against Me,” “Up N' Down,” “How I Roll,” “Gimme More,” “Trouble For Me,” and “I'm A Slave 4 U,”) and that she’s slowly gaining her confidence back. It's all up to the choreographers, and how good are they at adapting the choreographies to her current skills that are weaker than they were before.
She loves performing and dancing, and I feel that her passion to perform and entertain is very much still there, but somewhat trapped. Considering her troubles over the years, I don't blame her. I'll support her no matter what she does, but I would die to see her doing a killer choreography, and give us standing ovations worthy performances she used to give us.
Speaking of performing, I’m proud that she’s singing a good 40% of the tour live, and using pre-recorded vocals for the other 60% (I much prefer pre-recorded vocals to studio version.)
Her label said this May that part of the reason that she doesn't do intense dancing is because of insurance worries, but I don’t know. It definitely isn't crisper due to lack of rehearsals and meds.
I’d say the “Hold It Against Me” tour performance (not the Good Morning America/Jimmy Kimmel mess,) is on par with her past performances:
