But **** that I have to have a few sweets every now and then. I literally crave chocolate when I'm on my cycle. I don't overindulge though and that's what people's problem is.
I do believe that if you're going to die, you're going to die no matter how healthy you eat. Some **** is invitable. Like I said, I eat healhty, but I'm far from healthy because of my disease. Life sucks.

It's really a matter of discipline, I stopped eating all that stuff almost three years and my body seems to have adjusted. If you can stay committed to your diet, your body will follow suit. But I do have my cheat moments.
The other day I ate a Hershey's bar.

I am far from one dimensional on this. If anything, that'd be the people throwing out these reasons for eating meat. I'm not saying people in poverty are wrong, at all. But if someone argues that a percentage of the country is in poverty, then I'll argue what the other group's excuse is.
And the entire organic diet thing is overplayed. You can cut out meat without going all organic veggies and such. There's more room in between than people think.

Damn girl, that Winco around your area has some cheap ass chips! Pick me up a back of Lays when you're out.
But really People can ditch meat without having to go the full organic veggie route. Like I said above, there's tons of stuff in between. It's more an awareness problem than anything. And laziness (in the least offensive way meant). We should close this thread and make a new healthy diet thread

Exactly.
By the way Mani, you can make a fresh salad for maybe 10 dollars or less. I'm talking fresh romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and a vinagerette dressing and it'll go a whole lot further than a extra value meal from McDonalds.

This is a stupid discussion now tbh.
All of you flops are talking about the god damn states, let teh pigs reign however they want.
A McDonalds meal here is ****ing 15$ x 5 (= 75$ for you dummies out there) if you want to feed a family, to whereas a homecooked meal made by my dearest mom is like max 20$. And in the US it's like 5$ for a family to go to mcdonalds, and probably 10$ to cook your own damn meal and use time and money.
POINT:
In the US your family will save money by going to teh cheap ass fastfood place
In other countries (like Norway) McDonalds for a family is expensive as ****ING HELL and nobody ever really goes unless you just can't be bothered to make teh damn f00d.

Awww. Let's kiss and make up, Anderz.
Like I said above, this all comes down to awareness first, then (unfortunately) money right after it.

I've thought alot about becoming a Vegetarian and that may happen in the near future since I really love animals.
Though I need to get over my extreme love for philly cheese steak.

Wow. Junk food is so cheap in the U.S.A compared to here...
A bag of chips is usually 1 Euro here, aka $1.30.

This is why obesity is rising in America unhealthy foods are a lot cheaper and we live in a bad economy which that doesn't help.

Salads and juices and water are actually really cheap here.
When I was in the supermarket with my friends once, these tourists from America or Australia or whatever were discussing the prices and they said they'd never live in a country which such expensive food.

I don't get it. Maybe I live in such a hipster area, but junk food is not cheaper than regular healthy food. Organic, special, or high end health food is drastically more, if that's what y'all are talking about. But I can live a healthy life for slightly less than a junk food life. Again, could just be my area. Though those specialty stores are expensive as hell.
