TF is glamorous and glittery.

TFM is dark and mysterious.

BTW is...ugly and vile? Not sure what message that image sends. And I don't mean after she's given a 10-minute explanation. I mean that instant when you look at it.

For example the TTT cover is trying to send the message that Rihanna is cool and badass. But something in this vein would have been much better

No one cares what the message is. It's all about what the cover looks like and the emotions it invokes. The BTW cover is great simply because when you look at it, you think to yourself "What the ****?"

I defend it because it's hilarious, campy, over the top, stupid, cliche, silly, AKA, everything Gaga is. From what I know, people don't buy an album because of the cover, they buy an album because of the music.

The reactions to the cover were pretty priceless, but it really tested me. I don't hate it anymore but it really should've been something else.
