I do believe her advocacy hurts her commercially. People just aren't here for a popstar that cares. They just want fun music. Though in the long run, Gaga will def. be one of the only artists of this generation remembered simply because she was unafraid to care about the people who helped make her famous. I personally don't believe Gaga uses the gay community. It might help her, but I'm positive she's genuine about the cause. I don't think the "homosexual stuff" is a marketing ploy.
About your comments pertaining to Scheisse. It'll be interesting seeing what it does. If it does well, that'll just prove that the general public gives no ****s about lyrics and only care about beats.

I never said she used the gays.

. I'm talking, for example, where I live in the south, they played Pokerface/Bad Romance 278491279494791926372x's, but I can count on one hand how many times they've played BTW, Judas, TEOG, and Y&I. I don't think the GP where I live is here for all the gay stuff. I mean there's literally 2 gay kids at my school, and it's like that in all the surrounding areas.

I just think the material is not as safe as her previous work, plus she was on a hugely successful streak of hit singles. You can't maintain that forever. The BTW singles are hardly flops though (minus Judas).

They are not PF/BR catchy.
& everything about BTW is gay. It's called BTW, for Christ sake. Anytime she does promo she always talks about the gays. Which, I don't see anything wrong with, but the GP obviously does. My god, she does have straight fans as well.
