I don't think so, DITD has great ideas and I think it would be a hit. MTN for example, is good but the chorus is not that great. She can do a lots of meaningful hits if she has focus.

Her song concepts are great. When she talks about the meaning of DITD, MTN or TEOG, you expect a true pop masterpiece. And then you hear the song, and it's good, but it's clear that the production didn't make the most of the song's potential.

I think RedOne should still be one of her go-to producers. Besides Highway Unicorn, their tracks together on Born This Way are quality dance tracks, albeit somewhat over produced.

Alejandro is an editor's worst nightmare. So many unneeded scenes. Went on way too long and none of the extensions were necessary. The Madonna comparisons began here too. I do feel like there is wwwaaayyyyy too much filler on BTW. She got too happy with control. I hated the album first listen. I felt like she was just being a preachy incomplete transformer trying to shove self acceptance and tolerance down my throat. I've come to appreciate the album now.

The Fame is one of the best well crafted pop albums as of late. The album was what it was. Sure, the lyrics aren't full of depth - but that doesn't make it the album to be ignored. The album was not just some flesh in the pan album full of easy bake oven hits. Poker Face is still an iconic single that accompanied an iconic album. Just because she wasn't talking about being in love with Jesus' killer doesn't mean it isn't a good album. Yes, I prefer everything after it, but The Fame continued to hold my interest in pop music

In all honesty. Paparazzi was the only thing Brilliant about The Fame. All the other song could have been record by anyone. I agree The Fame era remain ICONIC but just because the imagery, The Fashion not because it was musicaly great. I think The Fame didnt even deserved the Album Of The Year nomination @ Grammy.

The Fame Monster was her first great work it still full of generic songs like Telephone, Bad Romance and Monster. But the concepts behind those songs are really creative. Musicaly it was an really BIG step in the right direction. Alejandro and DITD are still superiors to the whole album though

There is no filler on the standard editon of BTW. Yes, some songs are better than others, but filler? No. Not in the slightest.
