During In The Zone she was beginning to be taken pretty seriously as an artist and not just a popstar, she was obviously growing and maturing...then K-Fed came alone.

My fave is the sole writer on most if not all of their music and is responsible for writing music for other artists as well though. Which ironically means they've done more writing over the course of 5 years than Britney has in her entire career

b) Taylor Swift gets the awards because she literally does all the work, she writes every lyric and every note and because she brought country music to the forefront again, it's been a while. Taylor puts more work in, that work is recognised. And people who say Taylor Swift is crap are delusional, check her rewards, check her critical reception, check her peers and check her sales. She deserves it.

Exactly. You can say what you want about her music but she puts in a hell of a lot more effort than most pop girls today.

I haven't said much about the Grammy's, i'm not going to make excuses for why they snub her. I'm assuming it's because there's more talented artist who are more deserving which is why she always pushed to the side. Or it's because she's put in the wrong categories. But I honestly do not care about awards in general that much, there nice to have and make you look good. But at the end of the day it does not change or really have an effect on a artist's career what so ever. Most of the other stans in this thread just like to troll, all I have to do is report.

This + the fact that gramy critics in general weren't as accepting of popstars and the teen pop genre as they are now. Check the grammy collection of other dominating teen pop artists at that time (backstreet boys, nsync, spice girls, etc) and you will see. Only Christina was able to snatch like 2 VOCAL categories and best new artist., but she was never even nominated for any of the major ones.
