I think once people decide artist X is copying artist Y, they see it everywhere. There are so many photos of say, Madonna wearing red and looking to the left next to Gaga wearing red and looking to the left. GASP, thief! Same goes for Gaga->Xtina Marilyn->Madonna etc. etc.
