Someone counted the number of words and lines to WDKY and compared it to her other songs and it's like, twice as many within the same amount of time... It's clearly a harder song to sing.

To be honest, she just sounded tired to me. She's doing so much promo and she probably is just getting really tired. Her vocals have improved, but we're just the effect of fatigue here.

Exactly. Let's be honest, no one currently in music could perform WDKY like Kelly can, even if she still has room for improvement. Adele hasn't had to perform a song that fast live. I'd like to see her try. I can promise you she'd fall flat.

I think she struggles with WDKY because she doesn't really know the words yet, lol. She's singing full force and yet kinda like oh crap what's the next line? Most artist would suck and make it super obvious but KC can hide it better. Only the hardcore fans that know what she's capable of are overly critical.

I know virtually every lyric on the entire Stronger album, not knowing the lyrics to your OWN songs is not an excuse lol

Never Again is a fast song though and shes usually always pwned it. :/

And if this is Kelly tired from "promo." Im scared to see Kelly tired from "touring."

I dont think were really critical either. The truth is, Kelly doesnt sound as nearly capable as she used to. I mean, sometimes she can still hit the the notes or have a great performance where its like woah. But I personally think her voice is getting hoarse. Some people have said its becuz shes getting older. :/ I personally think shes overused it and been too hard on it. *Sigh*

I'm not sure how much her size has to do with her singing. Opera singers have excellent breath control and theyre not particularly skinny or in shape.

Listen to her IKYW performances, listen to Sober at the Troubador, listen to half of her ****ing performances this era for ****s sake! Her voice has never been better! The only difference is she isn't trying to be pitch perfect like she used to be during Breakaway and Thankful times. Her voice has never been stronger and more mature. She actually knows her sound now and what fits it best.

WDKY is an extremely wordy song especially in the chorus where she is basically belting and trying to keep up the tempo. Of course she is gonna be breathing heavy during it. It has nothing to do with her being fit or not. Do you really think she's THAT unfit that she can't keep up singing one song? SMH lol

They also spend a lot of time practicing breath control, which I'm sure Kelly isn't doing to any great extent. It's not that being fit means you necessarily breathe better, but if you spend more time doing cardiovascular exercise, that obviously would improve your breathing.

When it comes down to it, it seems that nerves are getting the best of her. When she's doing the more intimate performances (eg. Troubador) her vocals are fire, but these larger venues are affecting her, which isn't like her.

I agree that kelly's voice is more hoarse now and itprob is due to her overusing it in the breakway days. So I'm not a huge fan of her singing like she used to cause it'll only damage her voice more. I still think she sounds fantastic 90% of the time and that's pretty damn amazing for pop live singing these days.

Never Again is not faster than WDKY... There are breaks between each short line on the chorus...

Vocally yes, it is very demanding but WDKY is almost as demanding but without those breaks. The lines run right after each other

I liked it and the beat is so contagious - My feet were clapping together the whole performance.

Maybe radio might slightly pick up on it before an official adds date is done.

It's not wordy, but the song has more pitch variations.

It also requires intense delivery.

The big STRONNNGER..... note is what's gonna sell it. I think Jill and Kate should sing what doesn't kill you makes you... and then Kelly comes in on Stronger!! There's a second music rest and that line, so she can catch her breath and hold out that note.
