No. Complaining every week about the same thing is not helping in anything. Just enjoy the happy moments of the present like the queen says and stop complaining because we can't do anything about it and we still are getting good music.

oh it's always like this, and it comes from the same few "stans" like Lem and Captainmusic. I feel like half the time im in here, im defending Britney more than I'm enjoying and era or it's music. It's quite sad that some stans continue over and over and over again complaining about the same thing. Honestly I guarantee you Lem, Jack, and Captainmusic complained and bitched the whole entire circus era about promo, looks, music, image, etc. But now that it's over and were on another album it's automatically like they think circus was such a god album. Complaining about an era and singles/promo is so what happens on promo or sales happens. Theres nothing any one of us can do to fix it. There's no need in going over it and over it. once or twice debating on it is fine, but don't have a breakdown every week and a half over the same exact thing.

Don't get me wrong - she still looks incredibly hot sometimes, but she no longer looks like she's in her early 20's like she did in the Circus era. Maybe if the eras were 5-8 years apart, I'd understand her looking like this NOW...but they're not. She needs new stylists.

She still can look like that when and if she wanted to. Remember the 07 and early 08 Britney? She looked TERRIBLE (old, messy, and at times downright ugly), but with some workouts a good stylist, hair and makeup team, she was transformed back to vintage Britney in literally months.
Again, she can pull those looks off again she just needs the right team around ehr again like she did in the latter part of 2008.

Circus 's strenght was a couple of good songs and a better lyrical content.

100% truth , plus "He about to lose me" and "Don't keep me waiting"
I don't know why some people say FF is a safer album than Circus ... Circus is probably her least risky album.

True, but if anything I think they're simply venting their frustrations. Were all here for Britney and we want nothing but the best for her, if anything we get frustrated because we KNOW she can do better, esp. on the promotion tip. Like I said last night, I know her kids is her main priority right now but it would still be nice to see her put more effort into her career. She did in the Circus era so there isn't really excuse why she can't with this era.
I'll stand by her regardless, she's my Queen. I've been stanning since 99 but we all know she can do better.

Please point at where I said Circus was a "god album" Brandon? *Checks posts* Oh yeah, no ****ing where! Femme Fatale ***** on Circus MUSIC wise. I was talking about the ERA as a whole, good music doesn't automatically make an era great. The Circus era manages to **** all over the FF one in terms of promotion, hype, her team's decisions, planning, Britney's actions and how she looked, her promo performances, basically everything bar the music!
And at the time, yes, most fans didn't see what the Circus era had to offer and how it delivered, not just me, Lem and Captian Music. It's only in comparison to this ****** era how every aspect of the Circus era now shines through!

I remember! She looked really bad at certain times in 07 and 08 and I was in shock, tbh. Yeah, you're right, all she needs is the right team. Britney has the ability to look like a goddess, she really is beautiful, she just needs the right team. I mean, there are times where comfortable Britney looks gorgeous, but lately...that's been rarely. She could look better on tour if the right people were in charge of her makeup, etc.

there's no problem venting frustrations every now and then but where it becomes a problem is when all Lem and Captainmusic do is complain about everything all the time. Like you for instance, you only critique and give your opionion when it's needed and when something happens... Which is what most stans do. But when 98% of your posts are just complaining and bagging on someone then it becomes annoying. I love Lem to death but him and Captainmusic at this point are the closest thing to a Modern Cahleb.

Yes I've never seen you post that, but I have seen Lem and Captainmusic both post about The Circus era and how much better they think it was. I still love you jackyy speaking of which u need to follow my new tweeter. I got rid of my old one.

Agree in everything except the part where you say "Her team's decisions", her team only handled/managed well the first half of the era .... IMO the 3rd single should've been a ballad, and "If u seek amy" was better as a 4th single .... "Radar" is one of the worst decisions her team/She's ever made, and "The singles collection" decision was kind of rushed and radical.
Thanks to bad decisions Circus sales fell after the second single perdiod ended, and is a shame because Circus had enough potential to sell even more than what it sold

circus era could've definitely had more longevity if the 3rd and 4th singles were chosen more wisely. But Circus era sales were good though. 1.7 million in the US and 4 million WW is really good sales nowadays.

Yeah I know, Circus had good sales and I consider it as a successful album at the end the entire era was a success.
I´m just saying It could've sold even more, I blame the fact it didn't reach the 5 million WW on her team/label's bad decisions at the second half of the era.

The reason its being debated constantly is because it simply can't be swept under the rug. As soon as we get over it, something else happens that brings up this discussion. Im glad there are stans who like to bring this up. We have a right to want Britney to do better in handling her eras. Blogs and sites like ATRL are a big part of music and stan bases these days and with each era post-breakdown it is becoming very hard to defend her. I understand she feels that she has nothing to prove however if she continues to make POP music then she should be able to promote herself properly. Why should we be satisfied with an album that hasnt scanned platinum and a performing ability that barely outshines a Katy Perry performance, oh yeah because shes had 3 top tens and a barely sold out tour where she "sings live"......please. Britney is our idol and we just want her to prove to the world how truly talented she is, we already know this but the public doesn't. I hate to say this but Britney is now just a brand for the typical lip-synching untalented pop star who is burned out before even reaching the age of 30......sorry but that's how it is
