Rihanna flopped hard with Rated R, and yet LOUD is so successful, and now TTT is heading toward a good start too.
The lesson: Don't make conclusion before we reach the end.
Rated R didn't do well, true. But she took just a very little risk, it was not a completely experimental album like Born This Way because there were a lot of radio friendly songs. Then, she never ****ed up her fashion and kept it cute together with her videos. Rihanna and her team were smart when they decided to end the era as soon as possible giving the public a new pop, catchy record just months later.
P.S.: I don't need to say again that she didn't put so much effort writing/creating her album, right?

Coming from ADELE stan. This discussion isn't hurting anyone, just simply laying out all the wrongs so her team reads and understands that she needs to change next era. You just seem mad because people feel so strongly about it

That is cause of her strong digital presence which many thinks to be declining. We all know Gaga does better digitally than on radio.
I love Born This Way a lot but TFM sound+visuals were way better. I know she is way more happy with BTW cause it's what she wanted to do but she needs to do more TFM alike albums. I don't want to miss that TFM GaGa which made me a Little Monster.
Even if she had done arecord that's just as commercial and hip as The Fame was she would be selling as much as she was during TF/TFM.
She's not new anymore and her debut was one of the biggest records in years. What do you people expect? She will nit 6 million ww the least. That's nothing to sob at.
Gaga just shouldnt have released You and I. Shouldn't have ****ed up TEOG video. And shouldn't have tried to copy Madonna with the gimmicky (although good) Judas. She tried way too hard.
But this era will be salvaged. There's the tour too, which will probably end up doing great. Let's just ride the era through and a new Gaga album will be on our way before we know it!

She is not godness if you are aware. It is not easy to creat new genre. The best way is to fuse old sounds + new sounds (that's what Gaga does for BTW)

Did you even read my post. No where in it did I say create a new genre. I said fuse genres from Electronic music with some other new interesting ones from different territories in the world. You clearly don't see the potential in Gaga. She made it very prominent in Heavy Metal Lover and G. Hooker.

You need to understand that she is in control, not her team. Not smashing the charts is not wrong when it's not the aim.
