I know that when a song enters top ten it begins having huge icreases because of the exposure, and i think that the more downloads a song gets, the more popular it is. So radios will play it more i guess

I don't see how simply being in the top 10 will suddenly increase sales significantly.
The top ten songs are shown on the front page on iTunes, it's like having a free banner on iTunes for your single.
