This is where Lady Gaga is lost to fans like you two. You're taking what she said in the video, literally, I'm taking what she said in the video figuratively, as it most likely is MEANT to be taken. For me, she's addressing the
authenticity issue of the persona,
Lady Gaga. Those lines about "lies" and "genuine" was her commenting on those type of accusations.
