Hello everybody, right on time i just wanted to introduce myself to the great Behive at ATRL. I'm a Beyonce-Fan ever since Destiny's Child and I've followed her career through all the ups and downs. I personally think she's one of a kind and definitely the greatest artist, entertainer and singer of our generation. It's a blame that she doesn't get the support this era, but since we're speaking about the KING herself, it's just a matter of time, until everyone realizes her oustanding talent again and starts stanning for her as hard as we do.
From my point of view, "4" is her best work up to date. It creates a great atmosphere and i love the fact its so full of different emotions. You start by hearing the amazing "1+1", a song full of pride, love and admiration, get into "I care", where you listen to a woman torn between her feelings and the fact that she gets treated badly (those adlibs are out of this world here!!!) and suddenly find yourself listening to "I miss you", a song that perfectly describes the feeling of missing somebody, who you love. What a fantastic transition of feelings; and that was just the beginning!!!
Honestly, you can't really find a bad track on "4", but plenty of good ones. Still, like everybody, I also do have favorites that i love to listen to: "Run the world" (that track is a smash on its own and i bet that it would have been number 1 if it wasnt for the early leak.. Just imagine she would have had the chance to actually premier it on the billboard awards without having anybody listened to it before!!!! That would have caused some serious global impact!!!), "End of time" (Beyonce at her best!), "I was here" (
THE ballad of her entire career) and "Love on top"!!
Well thats what i actually wanted to say about me and my admiration for Beyonce. I definitely feel happy to (hopefully) be a full part of the behive now and to share my opinion with you
