Considering all the circumstances, yes.
However, considering this is the most "downloaded" artist of ALL time that we're talking about, and a high profile promo performance couldn't get a song but to the top 50 on iTunes says enough.
It's stating very clearly that the brand that Lady Gaga created and established has lost an intrinsic value, and it's unclear whether or not that value can be obtained again.
That loss in value has resulted in less radio airplay, less digital sales, less YouTube views, less album sales, etc,..
I'm not trying to be negative, be sure of that. However, I am being realistic in that it's become quite clear that Gaga has lost "steam."
I can't say that I'm surprised. However, I'm sure that her next album will be where this begins to transition from the declination that we're experiencing to a more upward trend in the aforementioned areas.
