It's been a few hours since it leaked, so here's my take on the standard edition
TALK THAT TALK short ass review
1. You Da One
Had to get used to this one, didn't understand why she picked this as a single. Now I do! It's catchy and I keep singing this out loud. Perfect second single material!
2. Where Have You Been
Most likely the next single, this is one of her best songs ever. This will do great all over the world because of the dance parts you wouldn't expect! Yes, this is a HIT!
3. We Found Love
Still a great song! Loved it ever since it got released and even more after the video got out. Still not done peaking all over the world!
4. Talk That Talk
Laidback song that will be a a single once for sure! You have to get into it like with You Da One, but once you do it's stuck in your head!
5. Cockiness (Love It)
Probably the dirtiest track on the album, a standout! It's fun (with the 'oooooh's), hot, sexy and a steamy mess! A lot of people will go and have sex on this one
6. Birthday Cake
Still need to hear the extended version.... Won't take long, I love it! I always hate the use of the sample, but Rihanna does it justice.
7. We All Want Love
Would be a perfect single! Catchy yet beautiful and meaningful. I can already imagine the video for it. Great to also have such songs on the album!
8. Drunk On Love
Using the The xx's sample was risky but smart. It makes the song even more amazing and more known I guess. Rihanna's vocals and lyrics do it justice.
9. Roc Me Out
Rude Boy part II, not as catchy though.
10. Watch 'n Learn
Catchy as HELL!! This keeps replaying in my mind, probably my favourite track right now. And not only catchy, also dirty, which we love!
11. Farewell
Beautiful ballad, but my least favourite track.
