Shut up & Drive is not horrible. It's one of my favorite Rihanna songs ever and LOUD is not GGGB's level. Never will be either. GGGB is full package from start to finish. Critics, sales, singles, and Grammys nominations all side with it.
Shut Up and Drive, Hate That I Love You, Say It, Sell Me Candy, Lemme Get That, Question Existing, and Good Girl Gone Bad, aka over 1/2 of GGGB, is plain basic, whereas Loud includes songs that are pure Rihanna.
Meh, most of Rihanna's albums are not very cohesive and just all over the place! Her albums sound like a bunch of hit songs stuck together on one album instead of a cohesive body of work. Rated R is the closest thing she has to a cohesive album, and even that has its several flaws.
I'm praying for her sake that anything on Talk That Talk matches up to Complicated.
One of the queen's strongest vocal. People don't understand that the emotion in that song is perfection. Everytime I play it it's like she's crying her heart out in front of me every single time. Def Scam and their studio magic.

The fact remains that you are delusional and ungrateful of the masterpieces on Loud, OP. Yes there are fillers on Loud but to call it trash is complete delusion. 6 million people disagree.

Good Girl Gone Bad is COHESIVE. It defines cohesiveness despite having 2 duds.
