But the reason why dirrty got talking was because it was such a transition from that bubblegum image. she literally DROPPED everything she was about and went the other way, of course the media was going to talk about that.

02. Christina was coming from an innocent image, whereas Shakira wasn't, so even if the video for She Wolf was 'controversial', there would still be no point in comparison to Christina releasing Dirrty as they were in very different stages of their careers.
03. Dirrty was great, but you're talking like it's some iconic song of the decade that is still in everyone's minds and as if some random person listens to it they will recognize it in a second. Drop that.

Every "hot" viedo has a bit of controversy from a small concentrated hate group, but she wolf was by no means as large as dirrty in terms of controversy.

Im just making it clear that just making something controversial doesn't guarantee that its gonna be remembered and shaki and xtina's most controversial videos were examples of forgotten controversy and memorable controversy
