I kinda wish she'd move away from Fernando for her next project, but then again I also wish she'd do a lot of things but she seems pretty set in her ways and who she surrounds herself with.

And don't worry for Marry The Night it will do fine, is a 5th single so we should be happy with a top 10 spot, the video will make it happen and let the radio spins take off, if not let's pray for Schizus to save us!

When Fernando fails, he fails pretty miserably (i.e. FOHL, The Queen, etc.) but when Fernando succeeds, he strikes musical gold (i.e. HEAVY METAL LOVER, MARRY THE NIGHT, and THE EDGE OF GLORY). I think they should continue working together, but obviously Gaga should also work with other producers and explore other sounds, etc.

I have two main issues with Fernando: overproduction and lacking innovation. The synths that RedOne used for The Fame's singles were way more interesting than the Fernando BTW synths ( ). Hell, even Dance in the Dark had better synths. The Just Dance instrumental is still amazing to this day.
I don't know how I feel about DJWS, but I don't think he'll be as prevalent in Gaga's career as Fernando will be. I think she's also moving away from RedOne, and probably won't work with Darkchild again. I'd LOVE to hear what someone like Stargate could do with her, or if she really wanted to wow me, have Foster The People produce one of her songs.

I agree with you, for the most part. I just wish MTN was a little less overproduced in some areas, but others are just

Where is DJ White Shadow now? He should be with Gaga and Fernanado now.

Pretty much this. When GaGa and Fernando are on their game, they're the best combination out there.

Yeah, the problem with Red One though is that now his sound is so generic and his beats are so rehashed and overused that they don't sound fresh like they did when Gaga and him churned out monster hits like Just Dance and Poker Face. I still love those songs, but I prefer the production on Bad Romance/Monster/Alejandro/So Happy I Could Die. The Fame Monster was nearly flawless...the songs were just mainstream and synthy enough to be radio hits but also had a dark/creative edge to them that made them truly "Gaga."
One thing that bothers me about Fernando's production is (in addition to the overproduction you mentioned) the echoing of the vocals. EVERY single line is echoed. You don't notice it on a casual listen, but if you listen closely every line is echoed, which probably adds a little to the seemingly noisy/overproduced sound. Overall though MTN, TEOG, and HML are pretty ****ing amazing.

I was referring to Fernando's synths on the entire BTW album. Most are uninteresting/uninspired.

RedOne brings his best work with GaGa. Even HU, which I particularly don't care for... the instrumental *****.
Garibay's work is WAY overproduced... MTN, BTW, Americano, HML (though I think this is one of Gaga's best). TEOG is probably his best work on the album and one of Gaga's top tracks in her discography, IMO.

Every club song by a latin singer now is produced by RedOne, and it's to the point where he found his niche in the industry and seems to be pretty successful with it. The public eats up these generic beats with song after song, so good for him. Just stay away from Gaga with that ****. TFM was an amazing progression from his production on The Fame, and as you described, it shows. That album is nearly flawless, and I've come to appreciate it more AFTER Born This Way was released. That's the pinnacle of commercially viable and artistically Gaga. The Fame was more of the former and BTW is too much of the latter. TFM was that nice middle-ground she needs to strive for from now on.
Yes! This really gets to me especially during TEOG. The song would be slightly better if the lead vocals stood on their own without that echoing effect. I listen to music with a pretty nice set of headphones, and they pick up on all these subtleties.

Stop making excuses for it.

and we heard you say the same **** over and over... Stop bitching about it. If you see people making excuses just begone with it, no need for you to bring this up every 5 post. If the song is flopping by your standards so be it. I appreciate your request link etc. but you seem to be bleeding all over this thread when someone gives some excuse.

I see that the positivity that this thread got after Sunday is completely gone by now
Well, it lasted two days, quite long for this fanbase tbh

You are being too negative against this stanbase.
We had a flash of positivity after Madonna's demo leaked today.
