I am so sick of hearing Katy can't sing Firework. Does she have the most trouble with this song and some bad performances? Yes. But she has several great performances that outweigh those, people just like to hold on to the not so great ones. Everytime I hear it, I'm about ready to spit this in there faces.
What was that?
I'm not saying she hasn't had difficulty or she hasn't had a bad performance, but these performances further prove she CAN sing it. There are more, but these are the best I think. What do you think Cats?
Sammi, you put together a little "collection" for lack of a better term to show that Firework was inspirational and affected people culturally correct? Because I am sick and tired of hearing BTW was and not Firework.

It's pointless discuss that with those delusional things. You have radio,iTunes charts, music video views, covers and lot of other things that clearly show Firework slays all over BTW.I won't even bother with them and you should do the same. They're non-factor as their opinion.
Agree,I'm already doing that.I'm not voting on the same stations every day(well only on 3 biggest ones).I have my weekly schedule.

When I first saw the firework video I was blown away, I was shocked because I didn't know that side of Katy, I was so inspired, I remember doing a Twitter background inspired by Firework the next day.
And BTW is a good song but the video is creepy and it doesn't fit the song, Gaga tried too much.

LOL Firework sold WAY MORE than BTW and spent less weeks at #1. Plus, it is still in and out of the top 100 of Itunes. Where's BTW? Plus, the music video has over 3X the amount of views, almost twice the amount of likes, half the dislikes, and a much, much, much smaller percentage of dislikes.
Oh and Firework was a 3rd single and BTW was the lead. Anyone who seriously thinks that BTW made a bigger impact culturally (or really anyway) is seriously pressed. Numbers don't lie.

Ya i know what you mean, i think she tried way to hard on BTW video and Y&I video. And on TEOG she didnt try hard enough. The weird thing is i feel Judas was the best even though the song charted the worst.
Now with Katy Perry, i would rank the videos from best to worst like this:
1.) E.T.
2.) Firework
3.) Last Friday night (T.G.I.F.)
4.) California Gurls
5.) Teenage Dream
What order would you other katycats put the videos in from best to worst?
EDIT: BTW when i say worst i don't mean the last video on the list is bad, they are all EPIC videos, just some are more EPIC than others

The first time I saw the video, it was like a week after it was released, was at my schools PEACE club. My sponsor said that she thinks of that song/video every time she felt low. Everyone in the club was shocked/touched by it. We were speechless.
The only I wished happened differently was that they put a scene of some poor little foreign kid. Like a small little boy in a Indian slum or an African refugee camp.Ya know?
Kemosabe will become Sony’s fourth label division, with Dr. Luke reporting directly to Mr. Morris. The label is expected to become operational in January, and Dr. Luke will have free rein to hire staff members and sign artists. One trade-off: because he can now produce only Sony artists, Dr. Luke will not be able to work with Ms. Perry, who records for EMI.
