Why does she keep doing interviews in the Uk though?
I think her team are treating her as a new artist there since she flopped so bad ... people dont know who she is and think she won American Idol or something
I wish the fans would wake up and realize that the bonus tracks (He About To Lose Me, Up N Down, Selfish, Don't Keep Me Waiting, Scary) will never be released because they aren't on the standard edition of the album. They are going to release songs that are on both the standard and deluxe edition to push more units. Even though I like Gasoline a lot I don't think it stands a chance. Trouble For Me is too slow and doesn't have a strong enough hook. Album track at best.
These are the only three songs that will work if we get a fifth single:
Big Fat Bass - Wasn't in the running but could be huge
Drop Dead Beautiful - Most likely the next single
Inside Out - Outside chance
You have official documents to say they'll never be released? As far as I'm concerned the deluxe editions are always the better selling on the iTunes/Amazon charts. And are always the copy that I usually see in stores. Plus you've got "Superbass". Besides don't act like they're actually trying to push units anymore.

I don't see why releasing a bonus track would be such a big deal since the deluxe version was the more stocked than the standard version worldwide anyway
The Big Fat Bass video already has the will.i.am part filmed and the choreography for it is complete. Just give Britney a green screen for the music video and rush release this smash in the making by Black Friday.

No songs left on the album are going to sell Femme Fatale anyway -- so you might as well release whatever Britney wants....or whatever is single is going to sell without promo.
Deluxe tracks are released all the time --- see: Superbass
That is one example. Britney is not Nicki Minaj or Jessica Simpson. She isn't going to release a song that is not on the standard edition of the album. Especially not with a re-release.

Right? The deluxe editions of every album are more stocked these days, because people who buy records want even more content. And let's not forget "Up N Down" slayed the iTunes chart out of nowhere the week of release. AKA people were checkin' the Deluxe edition.
Lets just scrap the 5th single and the Femme Fatale era. Let Criminal peak at #30 and lets all gear up for Britmas next year when Britney will properly release her 8th CD.

So just because a great track is on the deluxe -- you're not going to release it? Would if Up N' Down is Britney's Superbass?.....Chile, it's not about what other artists are and aren't doing, it's about BRITNEY and what will help her.
Whether it's standard or deluxe, if a song is hot -- it will help the album regardless.

But no point debating the 5th single. The Femme Fatale era is over. We need to start brainstorming for her 8th CD....which will be flawless and properly promoted and executed with Britney and Bloodshy&Avant as Co-Executive Producers.

Why is it such a demeaning thing for an artist to release a deluxe edition song? No she isn't Nicki Minaj, but Nicki Minaj got one of the biggest songs of the year releasing one of the most commercially appealing songs off her album. And you keep saying this. When did Jessica Simpson release a deluxe edition song?
