I think if 4 had been a bigger era Beyonce would definitely be a major contender for AOTY but as of right now I think Adele has it in the bag. 4 will still be nominated but wont win unfortunately.. I just want this album to win some awards and get recognition.
What Grammys do you think it'll pick up?
I hope she increases her pop Grammy count.
I think she'll pick up:
01. Best R&B Album - '4'
02. Best R&B Song - '1+1'
03. Best Traditional R&B Song - '1+1'
Not too sure about:
Best R&B Performance - 'Countdown'
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration - 'Party'
I can also see her taking home Record of the Year for "I Was Here." And as someone posted before, if she wins AOTY, it will make up for this era... But then there's Adele

The people who nominate are not the same people who vote. Nominations are usually much more based on sales and what's happening in the charts right now. The actual voting is what can be unpredictable.
What is this and Why am I No.2? I'm a post *****? I shall take a 3 week break.
This is my last post for 3 weeks.....
Ch. I was SHOCKED I only posted 225 times in this thread over a 4/5 month period. That's really low for my standards and I feel like I'm ALWAYS in here.

Yea, beating Adele will def be a challenge.
I think she could pick up Rap/Sung easily. Who would she be up against most likely? Some Bruno Mars features?
that is a list of the users who have posted the most in the thread aka post-*****s the most dedicated stans.
Why?

so I'm shocked...I REALLY do have a life...
I'm out posting people who were here for years and months before me..
But there's no use dwelling on the past...working with what we have...this should be what follows:
2011: 5. Start Over (Winter - Nov.) ------ Let's get the slow songs out of the way for a smash 2012!!!
2012: 6. I Was Here (Winter - February) ---- Perform at Grammy's. Go take care of baby. 7. End of Time (Spring - April) ---- Jesus of music coming to set the music industry straight. Promo the HELL out of this!!! 8. Schoolin' Life (Summer - June) --- Who needs a degree...when you're on summer vacation?Perform at end of setlist for VMA tribute, then receive Vanguard Award...applause...next day good album sales, single downloads. Promo the HELL out of this!!! 9. Lay Up Under Me (Fall - September) - Go out with a cute song...call it wrap.
Beyonce Sasha Fierce ready to attack in the next few months.
I think I need the jafet stamp of approval though. Did I miss anything jafet?
yes change start over for i was here end of time is in the right time and change scholinglife and lay up under me for dance 4 you and you forgote the budget of end of time video+radio+promotion= the song of this decade
Even if Adele doesn't get AOTY, there's still Gaga.
Just because her album isn't filled with slow songs doesn't mean it won't win or isn't quality music.
Anyway, hilarious watching you Bey stans meltdown over chart postions whilst trying your hardest to act like you all don't care because you got "good music"...let's not pretend like releasing RTW and CD was a risky choice, both were created to smash on radio, both failed/failing, and let's not get started on the generic BTNIH, one of the safest choices this year, just because it's slow doesn't mean it's good and risky, it's just as generic as CKB.
What's the point of "going against the mainstream" if you're just going to release the most mainstream songs from your album? Ha!
Bey will get no respect from me until Start Over is released as a single, but of course, it's obviously going to be EOT, so predictable.
Looks like Bey is as chart hungry as her fans.
