IMO they did what they could do with what they had. Sure they killed HIAM because of the wrong timing of the video, but after that she had performances the week of the album's release, then the Billboard Music Award performances (all those performances were a hot mess but that's not the label's fault) and then she was at the VMA's and she chose to not perform and she wasted another perfect time to promote. Not to mention they had to release a remix with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha to give TTWE another push and I Wanna Go was featured on TV promos.

The meltdowns in here. I do agree the next era simply can NAWT be like this one, two "flop" albums back to back would be too much. Luckily 'Circus' did well.

lol well she doesn't imo, but it would be nice if she promoted more. I thought she would put the effort in with 'Criminal' because I'm almost certain she fought for it to be a single, plus it's one of her faves off the album, so much she created the concept for the video. She can be so inconsistent sometimes.

I just don't get it anymore, it would be one thing if it was "BRAND NEW INFORMATION"...but it's the same people, every month, having the same tired meltdown, about the same tired subject...PROMOTION PROMOTION PROMOTION. While Femme Fatale did better.
The only reason why Circus had more copies sold the first week was because of it's release date. While Femme Fatale was released on an awful date with nothing special and did strong it's self. She got her Biggest Radio hit on a Third Single. While the Forth already out peaked Radar & Do Something. Plus, musically, Femme Fatale destroys Circus.
