Im in college
My roommate and one of my best friends were organizing it.
They ended up inviting people i dont even like so half of the people i was going out with was people that I dont even talk to.
Then 2 of my close friends that I actually wanted to come couldnt come because they had homework. Like bitch, all we were gonna do is dinner then a club possible. You could just go to dinner for 2 hours nbd. Earlier in the day those two friends spent like 5 hours wedding dress shopping since one of them is engaged
Then my 2 best friends here had this other obligation that they couldve gotten out of if my roommate and best friend organized it better so they couldnt come.
So it ended up being where I was just around people I never talk to+my roommate+friend. I dont mind going out like that on any other day, but the fact that it was my birthday and none of my actual friends were going just pissed me off.
That happens to me ALL the time! My sisters warn me like two seconds before their boyfriends arrive and I'm sitting here looking like a tramp.
