lol she's been fighting for her artistry since day one, let's not forget if it wasn't for her putting her foot down than then BOMT video would be animated.

I remember a quote from her where she said she had to fight her label to direct the 'Do somethin' video. Even now she still does to a certain degree. IWG was originally suppose to be the 2nd single until she pushed for TTWE. And she obviousbly got her way to have Jason in the vid. even though the director said he was originally against it.

yup, but I think she doesn't promote as much simply because she doesn't want to, seeing as how her kids is her main priority right now. I think we sometimes put too much blame on her management, Britney promoting = more money in their pockets. Given the lack of promotion I think it's safe to say she's not being forced to do much if she simply doesn't want to.
