fans should NOT choose the singles anymore. Seems like everytime we choose it we get it all wrong. I would even take BFB or DDB instead of toxicline TBH.

I don't think her sales are really going to get much better then this. The best we could hope for is that Britney becomes more engaged next album but still I really think we are looking at a sales ceiling of around 1.4 million stateside and 3 million worldwide. Sales aren't good anymore and even if she released in the fourth quarter from now on there is still going to be a sales limit because Britney doesn't actively promote her music. No promotion means weaker sales. We aren't going to see a 4 million+ digital seller from her because of that. It's just that simple. Add to the fact that Britney is a hermit person who is scared of interacting with people and that just isn't conducive to super successful era's. The girls who sell are the girls who actively push themselves any and everywhere. Britney just isn't a press **** anymore.
BOM, TOMH and IGTBB were all planned as singles at some point (that's why there are dance mixes for BOM and TOMH). BOM had a video director scheduled for it though. The director who made Christina's Fighter was going to be used for the BOM video.
Jive wanted Outrageous to be the first single from ITZ, but Britney wanted Me Against the Music. The label didn't budge until Britney got Madonna on the track and that's when Jive okayed it as the lead single.
Then, the label wanted to release Boom Boom as the second single, but Britney didn't. She wanted toxic as single #2. They listened to her and released it.
Then, Everytime was released as the third single.
Then, Britney was forced to release Outrageous as the fourth single because of a contract that Jive made with R Kelly.
After that the plan was for Breathe on Me to be released as the 5th single and then Boom Boom for sixth, but her knee injury during the Outrageous music video shoot cancelled all further promotion for the album.
