I think the label would be stupid not to release the first 3 singles as Mr. Know It All, What Doesn't Kill You, and Dark Side.
What Doesn't Kill You would have no problem at all with Pop radio and IMO, Dark Side would be massive on AC/HAC. Dark Side has potential to do well on Pop too. I really think that the What Doesn't Kill You + Dark Side strategy would work as well or even better than the Since U Been Gone + Behind These Hazel Eyes duo.
IMO, those 2 songs are the obvious choices for Single #2 and Single #3. I keep switching what I think they should do with the single's after Dark Side though.
I am leaning towards The War Is Over as a Single. The other Single though is a tough choice between 4 songs. I think it pays off to release risky Singles some times but You Can't Win is too risky IMO. Its between:
Let Me Down, I Forgive You, You Love Me, and Hello.
What do you guys think? A lot of people seem to want I Forgive You as a Single but something tells me it wouldn't do that well.

Dark Side doesn't strike me as a single. The fact that's she's performing it all alot now may mean it's not a future single.

I have seen Ads and commercials though and they only mention 3 songs...
Mr. Know It All, What Doesn't Kill You, and Dark Side. Dark Side is also charting the best on Itunes besides for MKIA & WDKY. Dark Side also seems to be the fan favorite of the album.(Along with WDKY)
I am just curious, its your opinion but what makes you personally not find Dark Side Single material?

I've seen 2 different commercials for Stronger on TV and on both they only mention MKIA, WDKY, and DS. Those will no doubt be the first 3 singles. Not to mention the CD has those 3 songs on the sticker outside of the case.
I can see single #4 being like a fan's pick. I believe Kelly said (and they did this at the Troubadour event) during the tour they will let fans vote before the show on which song Kelly will sing... at the Troubadour the audience picked Sober. By that time she'll be on tour and they can correlate that idea to her fourth single.

It's weird they would already hype a third single when the second hasn't even been released yet. I didn't think they planned the singles that early in advance.

Exactly my point.
It's not that I don't find it single worthy, it's just I don't think the Top 40 Audience wants to hear a song like Dark Side 24/7, it's not easy on the ears. You Love Me, I Forgive You, The War Is Over, Hello, & You Cant Win are better options. And Let Me Down is my favourite, I fear if Dark Side gets released, the former won't.

singles should be after dark side is you love me for spring then for summer it should be let me down
then the war is over on autumn till winter

they find it not a single material because it is a grower. however its uniqueness make it seem will get you attention in the first listen.

Well RCA would have a plan for the album way ahead of release, but the plan could and probably does change after release. I think they really need to focus on MrKIA right now, and move on the WDKY in around a month or two. Dark Side is a great song but I still don't know how successful it will be on radio, and radio play ensures longevity

Labels for sure think about potential Singles before the release of the album. Its the reason why My December and Goodbye Lullaby got delayed. With My December Kelly didn't take the $ they offered her but with Goodbye Lullaby, Avril took the money...
She recorded new songs to make the album have more potential radio friendly Singles.
Among those new songs were What The Hell, Smile, and Wish You Were Here...the first 3 Singles.
Opinions and Single choices change all the time throughout the era but labels definitely think about it before release

I figured they thought about singles but putting a song on an album sticker and in ads seems like jumping the gun a little. I just don't see what would make the label want to do that, even if they were planning/knew it would be a single, it would be months until it would actually be heard on radio... Unless maybe they are trying to build anticipation for it to be released or something? I don't know haha.
I do love Dark Side though, it's my favorite track on the album and I think it would do really well. I'm still unsure if it is too similar to WDKY to be released back to back though.

I don't fully understand what you mean with that last part...are you saying:
A) You fear that Dark Side will flop and make Stronger have only 3 Singles...
B) You fear that between Dark Side & Let Me Down only one will be released...and you prefer LMD.
Anyway, I feel that Dark Side would do well on the radio...I do understand however that it will be risky because Pop might not except it...I think it would be a #1 hit on AC & HAC though!

Considering her set was only 5 songs I think it's about right... More than half.

Well that's what happens when you release an album with so much Single potential
I really like Let Me Down too but I don't know if it would be the best choice as a Single. I think we both like Let Me Down & Dark Side but have opposite opinions on which one would have more success as a Single LOL.
Though if the label released Singles based on what the fans wanted it would be: (Random Order)
Mr. Know It All, What Doesn't Kill You, Dark Side, Let Me Down, I Forgive You, and The War Is Over.
