Guys this was the reason why Britney or any other pop mainstream artist couldn't submit on Dance at the Grammys:

I would just like to address those who are confused about the Dance Field. The reason why Chris Brown's "Beautiful People" is eligible and Rihanna's "We Found Love" is not is quite simple. Benny Benassi submitted the song that was included on his album "Electroman", so it was a win-win for both Benassi and Chris Brown. The version off "F.A.M.E." wasn't submitted. Rihanna and Calvin Harris' "We Found Love" isn't featured on a Calvin Harris only album, therefore warrants its ineligiblity. I'm a Grammy voter and was informed of the new rules months back. The Academy now wishes to keep this category true to the core Dance acts that usually go on ignored here because of the mainstream acts who submit in Dance/Electronic to just rack up their total amount of nominations. I'm all for this and actually like most of the changes the Academy has made to the categories for this years show.

Thank god that Britney already has her Grammy for Toxic because the days of pop artists submitting to dance are over.
