Because if your make 1000 remixes and discount them , then you really didnt achieve that record with a greater sense achievement. Can you imagine if gaga did that with all the rexmixes and her fan base buying her singles 2- 3 times , while discounting them. Well lets just say she would have more #1's , but im not too bothered about that
