Although everybody already knew this.

Rihanna has so many massive WW hits: her own songs, features on her songs, being featured on others' songs. Say what you will about her tour #s, Forbes, no #1 album, etc but her songs are being heard by millions around the world and that's what matters most. You can't just shrug that off. At the end of the day, it all starts with the songs. That's the core around which everything else - the tours, the albums, the fashion, the endorsements, etc - is built.

Yeah, I have been thinking this for a long time. The similarities are pretty obvious. Although Rihanna isn't as smart as Madonna.

I would say that too if my fave would be snubbed at the VMAs.

But the problem here is, MTV are ass kissers. See.. some y'all keep in mind this is not all of them, the whole MTV writing. It's only one person, this is an opinion, not a fact. Don't get to excited because this is just a brief affair.

What's the point in this, though, really? Why do people have to bring race into every last thing? Not to mention if someone expressed happiness that the 2 most successful acts this year were white , they'd be called racist. I honestly don't care about an artists skin color and it is a stupid reason to support/not support them.

Right down to the destructive relationship.

1. MTV needs to give ATRL our credit if they're gonna snatch our **** and run with it.
2. While neither Madonna nor Rihanna are technically great singers, they have signature voices and are known to almost always sing live – often while putting on a show that shames many of their pop peers.
Im leaving life with that statement.

A track,it's needs to happen.
As made as I shade & Drag Rihanna.
A track between the two has been long overdue.
I don't know how it would sound.
How in all hell it would work.
But the time is coming.

In a hopeless world where Donald was straight, maybe. But until then, keep some batteries tucked away for that vibrator.

Rihanna's not even close to Madonna's level by now. She's not as committed as Madonna, and she's already on her sixth album...
I like the girl though and I'd like to see her become bigger as an artist and entertainer.

*sigh* Silly Britney stans. Gaga has been making it clear since DAY ONE of her career that Madonna, Bowie, Grace Jones, etc. is a huge inspiration to her. Gaga doesn't try to take credit by claiming she came up with her image, she has always stated her influences. Gaga is however bringing those elements back like no other pop star has, there's never been an artist like Gaga for our generation.

I didn't say she's never won.
But her getting snubbed during her biggest era makes me think MTV isn't gonna be here for her videos this time around either.
