People keep talking about me at school, and I don't know why. Usually when I hear that I'm being talked about, I freak out, but the last few weeks I haven't really cared at all. I don't know if Rihanna has given me a bit of confidence in Talk That Talk, or if it is just a coincidence, but I like to think the former.

I always hear people wispering about me, and I would look at them and they would immediately stop... and look really suspicious. I have had people come up to me to tell me that other people are bitching about me for reasons I'm not in control of (such as someone telling me something, and other people getting jealous I found out before them). Usually all this stuff is really scary and I hate it, but now I find it funny and don't give a ****.

You shouldn't give a **** about those people.
As long as your friends and family love you, you don't have to worry.

Exactly. I think this era is a bit of a confidence boost for me, because it sounds so carefree and Rihanna actually doesn't care what people say about her... and I believe that will translate through her music.
Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris’s We Found Love has edged ahead of The Wanted in the UK midweek singles chart after the boy band had taken an early lead.
The Global Talent/Island act looked like they could be on for their third UK number one single after leading the market up to the close of business on Tuesday, but Def Jam/Mercury’s Rihanna/Harris is now back in charge having spent its second week at number one last Sunday.
However, there is little more than 1,000 sales separating the tracks, according to Official Charts Company data, so either release could claim top honours once the final chart is published this coming Sunday.
The opening part/voice-over/prologue still slays me every time I watch the video.
I underestimated thie video, thingking it'll be OG 2.0. One question: What happened to the 'epic choreography' her chreographer said in the BTS video??

I guess it was too OG 2.0 so it got deleted out, in the final editing

That's an answer I would like, too.
The last two things Rihanna has released (album cover, WFL video), I can't help but find comparisons to other artist's work. "Stop comparing, Rihanna is Rihanna, and no one else!" I know this, but honestly the comparisons are so similar that I can't help it.
Not only does "We Found Love" sound similar to Marina & The Diamonds' "Radioactive" (because they're both house songs), but the videos are really similar. The grocery/supermarket scene in particular, and just doing immature, carefree things throughout the video.
If you can be bothered, watch "Radioactive" yourself, and maybe you'll see what I see.

Looks like it's a new trend.
But i don't see Marina & The Diamonds as controversial or renewing.
Cause they're just following the new electropop sounds + the production of this is done by StarGate.
So that's nothing new át all they should've sticked with their original sound.
& i think that there are á lot of music videos that contains this theme.
