This album is really good.
She still hasnt topped Breakaway for me though, there are a few unnecessary fillers on this album, but its for sure her second best album.

I swear I previewed a song on Japanese iTunes when it was up a few days ago an it sounded R&B but theres no R&B song on the album.

Fillers? I'm not being rude, but what songs? I feel every song is amazing and has a purpose.

I'm shocked some people are dissapointed, to be honest.

maybe they are expecting something that is like the songs on breakaway which is very addicting and that will play instantly on your head

most of the songs in this album is a grower however

What doesnt kill you and let me down are instant ear candy, mr know it all is catchy too, i dont know why others arent into that. even kelly said herself that MKIA would be a song that will be annoying for she see it becoming a staple on radios

So I went out and found The Sun Will Rise

omg it's so good! So that makes 16/16 tracks for this album. Flawless from start to finish.

To me this is her best album to date. I listened to it twice without skipping a single song. I just love the flow of it. Some tracks are great, but it is the amount of stand out masterpieces (more than a handful) that make this album epic. Even SIFOY - once a really week and forgettable sounding demo to me - has been turned into a flawless ballad that now gives me chills!
The right single choices to the right time will determine the fate of this album. When it comes to sales within the US, It'll be hard to beat Breakaway. But I predict it will be her most successful album in the rest of the world. I really want her to finally get that No 1 in Germany. If WDKY won't make it, Dark Side will deliver and has to be the 3rd single!

PS: I still can't get over the fact that IICHY had been ignored for its potential as a massive album selling single.

i also would be thrilled if this goes #1 in germany...but i highly doubt that cause germans usually just don't have good taste in music (proof me wrong...please!)

I personally love this song and think it is one of the best from AIEW. I was shocked to find out Katy Perry actually wrote it and wished that would have been the 2nd single rather then IDNHU. A lot of my friends as well love Long Shot and think its one of her best songs. I disagree with it being one of her best songs, but it is a great song with flawless vocals!

I love Katy Perry, I love this song, 'cause it makes me happy, but... I would lie if I said Katy sings better than Kelly, that's completely wrong, in my opinion no one gets even close to Kelly's voice, but... it's a Katy song. Kelly sounds like Katy. She usually sounds special, but in this song she doesn't. I absolutely adore the song, but that's probably because they are my favorite artists right now, so... I have to say it's just not a Kelly song, but I don't care. Does that make any sense? Love the lyrics.
