Looks like i was right all along, TOTGA was the right choice. Everyone thought HH would of been safer, but this is the perfect time to take a risk, and it's paying off. I think artists are defined by the risks they take, especially if they're successful, like this is shaping up to be. Firework was a risk too and it did wonders for her career, sure it wasn't the best time to take a risk, but it sure did pay off. Katy is much more established now (TOTGA marks her tenth single!) so this risk could do wonders.
I also think all the singles could eventually get to 4x platinum or higher
I know that Cali gurls is already 5x, and firework is getting there. ET is at 4x, teenage dream is oh so very close to 4x platinum. LFN is still at 2x, and I think this will rise to 2x by the time it peaks. Eventually LFN and TOTGA could pass the 4x mark. Heck, even peacock is almost gold.
So, 2x platinum album, all singles are (or will be) at least 2x platinum, and a non single is almost gold
Not to shabby Ms. perry
