Also, Lady Gaga is an intelligent woman. It seems that despite the fact that she likes to be experimental and do everything herself, she is learning from all that experimentation. I think she is determined to make this single a success at an augmented level in comparison to the last two singles. I think she's just been working her ass off because she released YAI (quite possibly) because of Luc, and it seems like they've broken up.

Now, I don't know about you guys, but when I get dumped (not that that's happened much) I become much more absorbed into my projects. I'm assuming Gaga is the same way. So, my expectations for the video is quite high, and I'm confident that she'll deliver.

MTN era is going to be the single era that saves the era to the folks that have been saying negative things about the album, Gaga's success/relevancy.

Hooker is her outro, she never performed it yet. And even if she did, it could be for fun, or just to promote the album. Barely performed song does not = a single.

It was a lead single contender. It was also the 3rd single contender until TEOG's itunes response.

It was literally just waiting for a release, and was obviously a popular single idea.

I would agree, that and the fact that MTN fits with this "season/time period" more so than Scheisse does (not that Scheisse wouldn't be a bad choice; Bad Romance flourished during this time period).

Well, the only songs she's ever performed (except GH outro, HML outro, and the TIDBIT of Scheisse) were singles or promo singles. TEOG was a single, but was also a promo single. Hair is performed because it was a promo single.

Also, no reason to perform a song (in its entirety) if it is not a single.
