Because she doesn't make music or look like Britney, GaGa nor Rihanna. She's just a "fad." They fail to realize there is a market out there for her music even after the "cool" novelty and mainstream pop success wear off.

I think Katy will make it, she (and her producers) can easily adapt to the new sound, I find that harder for Gaga, she's undeniable talented but I'm not too sure how versatile she is.

Britney: The problem with Britney its that she doesnt have yet the public respect, she will get to her 10 album for sure.
Adele: Its too early to tell, she might but i dont think she will have another "21"
Lady Gaga: If she play the right cards she can become an icon,but people need a break from her.
Rihanna: I love Rihanna but i cant see her having a long career, she might be in album #6 but i think she will eventually suffer from overexposure.

maybe she should try out R&B, soul and pure country next time to show that how versatile she is ..
I think adele wont, but not coz she wont continue being successful.. but coz she wont need to... she will probably start making a once in a 4 year period albums.. and be successful until 40 or so... then live from greatest hits... probably just about 7-8 albums
