I'm going to say no, which is funny because I used to stan hard for Kesha.
There's just nothing really special about her, to be honest. Obviously she is great at writing #1 pop hits, but it's not really enough. I don't know, I loved Kesha more back when because I guess I saw so much potential. Once she blew up, I felt as though she doesn't use it. All of her videos are the same and her performers are like lackluster Gaga performances (without the voice, creativity, and talent). But...I do think Kesha has it within her. Once she finds it, I may go back to stanning for her..
Ofcourse she is... she makes awesome music.. she does good performances... have a good and fun time doing them.. she isnt pretentious like other popstars... she is super nice to all fans and is super humble...
Even if I wasn't a fan of her, and even if I didn't like her music, there's still no way I could actually dislike her as an artist. She's fun, chill, a good songwriter obviously, an energetic, entertaining live performer, and even though some people don't want to realize it she CAN sing. And in addition to this, she also uses her fame to engage for all the right things: LGBT equality, animal rights, charity in general etc. So for me, there's really nothing to hate about her.
You mean compared to the debut albums of practically all other more or less current pop stars with the honest exception of Lady Gaga, who stands out among her peers regarding album sales? (Credit where credit is due.)
