As a reviewer once wrote after catching a show on the AIEW tour, Kelly is a unifier. The writer noted how there was literally every age group and background at her show... the family crowd, the young 20 y/o females having a girl's night out, the gay boys, the elderly couples, and even the straight rock-looking guys. I need to find that article, but I remember that sticking out because it's true. Kelly doesn't really cater to just one group. She's always been the type that says... if you like my music, come to a show, and have a good time. It's just that simple.

I'm the most open person about almost anything but I pretty much draw the line at racism, homophobia, or any type of nonsensical hate. Especially since I'm both black and gay, I don't think I could support someone who hates who I am.

Since we're talking about demographics, I've noticed the amount of attention Kelly's been getting with the brothers lately. When I check twitter I always see a lot of black guys saying how hot she is, lol.

I will agree; I think she's got a good straight male fan base. It may not be as big as her gay male fan base, but they are there. I've been to a few of her concerts in TX and I've seen them. They're usually with their girlfriends but I see them singing along to all of her songs... even the non-singles! BUSTED!! lol. Weirdly enough she also has a lot of older fans. I always see the 55+ crowd at her shows. They're usually in a big group of elderly couples. They're so cute... they sit through the whole show but they're clapping along and smiling, it's cute.
