Black Friday did wonders for Nicki Minaj with PF, I remember how shocked everyone was.

My personal belief is that Black Friday raises sales by 33%. Of course, that's not really accurate at all, & Christmas albums probably gain more than that. However, it's a logical, mid-range percentage to use. That's how I think of it anyway.

Yes and no. The decision to release it this fall will negatively impact her in the US, but it's going to sell like hot cakes for the rest of the year internationally. If they had released it in Jan-Feb 2012, the sales would be unbelievably sluggish.

I remember people making 200k predictions for Nicki last year, and I swore up and down that Black Friday would push her past 350k. Who's laughing now?

Not a bad way to estimate, tbh. I think without Black Friday TTT would sell around 180-200k in the US, but because of it we're looking at 240-260k.

Me, too. But TTT is clearly an internationally-focused album. They need something that can make waves in Europe and Australia, but also bring in sales from the urban community in the U.S. Do you really think that something like Hard would serve that purpose?

I stan for every song on Rated R, especially Hard, but listening to WFL I don't think this is going to be like anything else she has done before.

She can still open big. She has 5-6 weeks left. We don't have a problem like the BEP who released their first single 25 days before the album release. She should just do the following.

-Go on Ellen
-Go on Letterman
-Have an iTunes countdown
-Perform on Good Morning America the day of the album release.
