True and true but she's hasn't had huge, iconic, unforgettable moments like the moonwalk, the glove, the crotch grab, etc. that instantly make you think of MJ.
Technically she's perfect, but she has yet to channel that perfection into unforgettable pop culture moments like MJ.
Gurl I can't at you forgetting the "Woah oh oh" hand gesture, the " Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no" ass shake, and the "To the left, To the left" finger point.
There is no one way to perform, especially not in the 21st century. However, I don't know of any other artist, male or female that is able to go on stage and give an upbeat boom-kat routine and in the blink of an eye, belt out a heartfelt ballad. Beyonce is on a level of performance that I've only seen rivaled by someone of Michael's stature.
She gets a bit of flack when it come to the gyrating and overall sex appeal she exudes onstage, but if a girl wants to go on stage and pop her hip bone out of place while passionately singing from her gut, why not? And she can EASILY slide into the acoustic vocal mold when she wants to. She effortlessly serves you the vocal, the lyric and everything is pure, crisp, and sheer. She manipulates her tone with such confidence and ease, especially on tracks like "Halo" and "Dangerously In Love."
No outrageous auto-tune, no vocoder, and no gimmicks are needed. I mean, I just don't see how anyone could deny it. Beyonce IS the ultimate performer of our generation.
No they were not. His vocals were weak, but he maked up with flawless performing skills. He was like Britney in a way, his voice was charismatic, recognizable and goes great in the songs, but is technically weak.
Did you just...?
Sis...his vocals were anything but weak.
He easily overshadowed Britney with his vocals in that performance, and he's much older than her. I stan for both and can admit that.
I know IW, Irreplaceable and SL were big pop culture moments.
I mean MJ has alot of amazing spectacular performances but i've never seen anyone point one out as a stand alone iconic because all of them stand as amazing just as Beyonce's performances do.
No one in the music industry can provide strong vocals and perform such heavy choreography, like Miss Giselle Carter. This performance was definitely memorable and I can honestly see people in the future remembering this performance. Her discography may be weaker in comparison to MJ, but that could be fixed in the future.

Well maybe they are as unforgettable to you but everyone knows the "uh-oh dance" or whatever you wanna call it for Crazy In Love and of course everyone very well knows the Single Ladies and the robotic glove which is now her most memorable pop culture moment cuz trust when anyone does that hand movement with their right hand everyone knows as a sign of Beyonce. Again I admit even with my stan cap on they aren't as big as MJ's but she still has some memorable pop culture moments as well.
Charismatic, catchy, enjoyable, everyone loves it.
This is not the point of the thread.VAN wanna know about performing skills.Everything you named have nothing to do with a performance.
MJ is not a good performer because of a glove or "the moonwalk".MJ had alot of energy, charisma on stage w/o the extra ********.Correct me lf i am wrong tho @VAN

Are we really going to sit here and dispute the impact the "Single Ladies" video had on pop culture?
Everyone from overweight radio hosts to Justin Timberlake to a trio of plus size women to a 2 year old kid were recreating a version of the dance along with the ICONIC leotard!
And if we're going way back, the "uh-oh" ass shake from the "Crazy In Love" video practically took on a life of its own.
