When the project was announced I said she'd be doing well to move 2.2m copies in the US.
People really underestimate how much the re-release did for The Fame's total sales.

I think MTN has all the potential to catapult the album into impressive season sales and hopefully get it to 2.5M in the U.S. by this year's end. But I agree with everyone else; I don't think everyone else was prepared for an album like this.
