Some of these leaks, especially Everyday, should of been added as new tracks to B in the Mix: The Remixes Vol. 2. Since the album has no new songs, which is stupid!

So I'm listenin' to my Britney Spears: The Singles Collection, and I realise that I have "Someday (I Will Understand)" and "Mona Lisa" in the collection. After some searching on Wikipedia ( ) on what albums they come from, I can't find an answer.
Where do those 2 songs come from?

Ohhhhh ok. Thanks!
And another question, I have seen "The Original Doll" mentioned a bit on this site, but I have no idea what it is.

It was the project Britney is developing in 2005 before she got pregnant with Sean, leaving Jive with no choice to scrapped the album. Britney had 100% involvement with this project, writing the entire materials on her own.
Britney's impulsive move to premiere Mona Lisa without permission in KIISS FM certainly angered Jive's executives.

I heard it was also supposed to be a concept album, with the lead character being Mona Lisa, introduced in the Do Something video.
oh and Chaotic EP has the most amazing song Over To You Now, as a bonus track for some countries. its really good!

Wow, I really hope Britney held on to some of the material, it would be such a shame if it was all thrown away.

A concept album? I really wish it wasn't scrapped, it would have been amazing!

Isn't that why Jive scrapped the album? Britney said on Ryan KIISS that it was basically completed. Then Jive shelved it when she played ML without their authorization?

I thought it was the uther way around... Jive said she was in the beginning stages and she showed up and premiered the song, which was like a rough, live version. this angered the executives, and adding to her pregnancy, they scrapped it.
"It definitely has the raw thing going on it," Spears said during her station visit. "I recorded this song when I was on tour, right before I hurt my knee [see "Britney's Fall: The Never-Before-Seen Footage"]. It was done, I think, four or five months ago. My band, we didn't use ProTools or anything with it. It's all live. There's a lot of stuff you can do to make it better. It's going to get better. It will get better — this is a really, really rough mix."
Spears dedicated the song — a slinky, midtempo number with a descending synth line that recalls 'NSYNC's "It's Gonna Be Me" — to all the "legends and icons out there." The song's lyrics begin, "Ladies and gentlemen, I've got a story to tell/ About Mona Lisa, and how she suddenly fell/ See, everyone knew her, they knew her so well/ Now I am taking over to release her from her spell." The song continues to lament Mona Lisa's "fall," calling her "unforgettable" and "unpredictable," and cautions listeners not to have a "breakdown": "You will hit the freakin' wall."
Though Spears said she wants "Mona Lisa" to be the first single from the new album, she hasn't yet decided on a title for the project, though she's leaning toward The Original Doll. "It's untitled right now," she said during her visit to KIIS-FM. "It's not even all the way done." She also said that she hoped to release the album "probably before summertime, or maybe a little sooner than that."

I should have you castrated for saying this. Abroad is one of the best, Rockstar and Everyday being the absolute best and 911 being the worst.

These leaks really brought this thread back to life, well atleast Britney world back to life.
I'm here for criminal though!
I'm ready for next week when it gets officially added to radio.
Looks like z100 is the only station playing it so far.

This thread's got 9 lives like a kitty cat, but I'm sure we've used about 6 or 7 already.
And I think Z100 is the only big station playing 'Criminal' so far... I could be wrong, though.
