Let's first see if she'll be able to sell them out gwerls
Right
But the fact that she's become such a "freak" is a double-edged sword. Not being a normal pretty popstar is alienating to a lot of people. But on the other hand, there's nothing terribly exciting about seeing someone normal live. It's more enticing to see a circus freak in the flesh.
This was inevitable. I'd love to see the statistics of how quickly artists have transitioned into stadiums. Gaga is SO young career-wise. This will certainly decrease the intimacy, but up the ante on production value. Expect prices to see a significant change too, although the tour may not be completely stadium-based.
The concerts in Mexico were pretty successful too. If anything, those few shows proved that the demand is there. Interscope would be ******* crazy to not move to stadiums. Although I'm iffy on the source, this is pretty likely.
I'd love to see her play in a stadium, (and have her take my stadium-concert virginity) however, since I live in North America she likely won't be playing them here.
Though they did do a poll to who should re-open BC Place Stadium following renovations and Gaga beat 2 major local sports teams by 60%.
She'll be able to do stadiums for Europe and Latin America. It ain't happenin' in North America though. Still so impressive. Amazing.
Wrong, she sold out 3 stadiums 3 nights in a row; 1 in Guadalajara and 2 in Mexico City last year. And yes Mexico is North America. You probably meant USA.
