In all honesty, I don't know why people got their hopes up. It's pretty clear to me Britney does not feel comfortable ALONE on stage - BMA performances anyone? I really think we will never see her performing at awards again, at least not until the day one of her kids BEGS her to, and even then I think that in the end of the day they will find some excuse for her not to perform.
