The lyrics and the melody are very typical, novice singer-songwriter material. There's nothing particularly fresh or unique about it; it's been done many times before. It's still a pretty song, just nothing special.
Some of the lyrics to ToY are pretty juvenile, but I die of emotions every time she sings, "bust in the door and take me away, oh, no more mistakes..."
