Ellen performance has already happened (last wednesday), and the remix is released to radio this week, and on itunes on the 4th of October.
Song is definitely peaking, but to be fair, Adele's hasn't had that great updates either in the past 24 hours: MLJ has gained incredibly after WFL seemed so close to it, in a way that trashed the rest of the top ten.
Adele by the fell to number three even, so it's normal it's again gaining back (but not really that much; the one song truly gaining is Rihanna's) compared to Maroon and Christina.
The major airplay spinning also factors in: the more you hear a song, no matter how popular, the more you can think "Oh, let's buy it".
Moves Like Jagger surely is peaking, and I believe once Adele sings live, her reign on top will be similarly captivating... but I remember ten days ago, everyone was already declaring Movesl Like Jagger reign ending, and look how it went.
The song has a power that most seem to underestimate: it's pure guitar pop meeting dancefloor, and it's so with two amazing voices merging, which no other "good-feel" songs this year can claim on their side.
It's by far the surprise of the year, and I believe before it falls it will show a trick or two more.
In Amazon they still the bestsellers by a mile, and Adele is 4th there... There's room for battle this week.
Which is entertaining.
