I love the plan Troy has for releasing the album and I hope they actually do it; Radiohead did that once but then they pussied out of it so it went nowhere. All I want from this era are videos for Scheisse, Bloody Mary and Americano to please myself and her fans, and then she can move on. She doesn't really have to be commercial for this era anymore to try and get more album sales, it already sold decently worlwide and her Tour will be a smash anyway. I'm here for a new album on Black Friday 2012 and I'm very curious to see the direction she'll be taking with it.

Gaga is always writing music, so I wouldn't take this as 'Lady Gaga is planning to release new album soon.' We have maybe four more singles to go for Born This Way, and a tour included. The chances of a new album coming in 2012 are slim, but anything could happen I guess. I am just anticipating for 2013. Lady Gaga is unpredictable, but I don't see Born This Way ending in March of 2012 - while in tour - only for Gaga to release a brand new album in July Maybe a re-release could happen, but I really hope not. That would be even more embarrassing.

We'll notice when Gaga has truly moved on to the next era. Just look at how dark she became for Paparazzi, talking about death and sci-fi horror films. Look at how political and religious outspoken she became for Alejandro. Should be interesting. A new album would be great, but not anytime soon I hope! Lady Rihanna would not sit well with me

I'm working on it now and I've already written the core of it so I'm just continuing to travel around the world and make something really great. It's certainly my best work to date.

Anyway, I agree with not expecting a new album so soon. As much as I wish for one soon, I doubt she's gonna give up on BTW so soon.

Gaga actually wanted to be Lady Rihanna with BTW. It was supposed to come out in 2010.

The only thing I want for 2012 is an EP at most. 2012 is too early for an album w/ , extra singles, tour, and a break for her to let the sales add up coming out.

What everybody fails to see is that BTW was

1: Made for her fans and not the general public

2: An influence album: She made an album with the sounds that she grew up listening to, from Madonna to Bruce Springsteen. THAT WAS HER GOAL and if you take that into account then she made no mistakes with this album its very well made.

She said this album will separate her real fans from the casual listeners and she was right and I find it funny that people here say that she needs to be who she really is when this album shows who she really is with her influences.
