There's clearly nothing to worry about for Rihanna at this point. The song was released to itunes out the blue. Chick has Cheers in the top 10 of itunes , still fairly big on radio and is still in between eras.

No, no, no. It's his opinion. Respect it. At the end of the day, Adele is selling millions of singles AND albums unlike some artists, and doing more with a "boring" ballad than some artists are doing with their Max Martin/Dr. Luke produced, tailor-made-for-CHR hits. I'd be mad too.

Lets not talk digitally here. Rihanna is on the same level with everyone. The only one on a higher level is Katy. Gaga is weak digitally this era.

If anyone "isnt" a digital seller its Britney. I Wanna Go went #1 on Pop, had her highest audience EVER, and is extremely far away from 2 million. Not to mention - her #1 single - HIAM, has only gone platinum - and sold the same as Impossible by Shontelle.

Nicole - S&M didnt aid from the Britney remix - because the remix was HORRIBLE. And anyway - S&M will probably end up around 3.5 million. I consider that an extreme digital hit.

I agree with everything except for your last statement. The Britney remix helped the song top the hot 100.

The song went to #1 because of britney and her fanbase. And the remix has also sold like 400K in korea as well because of britney.

And? THE REMIX is the reason it went #1 on the Hot 100, quality did not matter as long as it was very front loaded.
